Using some of the same technology employed by Fortune 500 companies, we are now able to provide Enterprise Level hosting to our clients at near budget pricing!
Our Enterprise Level hosting uses redundant servers and redundant disk storage to virtually eliminate the possibility of website downtime due to hardware failure. We also have exclusive access and control over our server fleet allowing us to provide a extremely high level of service.
How do we do it?
Our Enterprise Level hosting uses enterprise-class virtual servers based on VMware’s proven Virtual Infrastructure 3 platform. These servers are powered by fully redundant Dell PowerEdge servers and a RAID-10 SAN for storage. This means that a hardware failure (hard disk crash, motherboard going bad, etc.) does not effect any of our clients’ websites because it will automatically switch over to a redundant system (usually in a matter of milliseconds) and alert the data center of the problem so that they can make the repairs while our clients websites are still online. Using VMware-based servers will also allow us to expand our servers’ power dynamically as our clients’ websites grow so that we never need to suffer from the issues usually associated with overloaded servers.
The data center housing our servers is located in Reston, Virginia and features 24x7 monitoring, multiple UPSes, and generators with fuel standby. The network backbone is peered to 8 providers (including AT&T, Level3, and UUNET) using BGP routing protocols, providing 99.99% uptime.
In addition to having our own server administrator, a staff of experienced network administrators will monitor the infrastructure 24x7 to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
